Posted on behalf of Solana Beach CERT – Open to All:
We have been fortunate to have veteran paramedic Ennis Jackson agree to give a CPR class on Wednesday, March 11, from 7 to 9 PM.
The location is the Solana Beach Fire Station, 500 Lomas Santa Fe Drive, corner of Nardo Ave, west of I-5: https://www.google.com/maps/place/500+Lomas+Santa+Fe+Dr,+Solana+Beach,+CAfirstname.lastname@example.org,-117.2676632,18z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x80dc0932d7f0bda5:0x1d067733edeed85!8m2!3d32.9952069!4d-117.2665689 . Note that there is limited parking at the Fire Station, but there is ample parking in the evening at the professional center immediately east of the FS.
The class will include the use of an AED, compressions-only CPR for adults and infants, and First Aid. Certificates will be through the American Heart Association, and as always, valid for 2 years. Cost of the class will be $25 per person, including certificate, which is lower than most providers. Cash Only! We will not be able to take checks or credit cards.
Anyone can attend, so please keep your own qualifications up to date, and also invite friends, neighbors, and business associates. Every one of them might face the opportunity to save a life. …maybe even yours.
Please reply to SB_CERT@yahoo.com with the number of persons you’d like to attend. All adults and mature teenagers from any local community are welcome.
I hope to see you there.

Note: While CPR is an important skill, it is not part of the CERT core curriculum. This training will NOT satisfy the DSW Renewal annual training requirement.
